Stage Programme

Once again the Festival of Dance was a great success.
This year we were joined by the Cornwall College, who not only provided and manned the PA system, hosted and MC'd the whole event, but also put on an exciting display of traditional Morris Dancing and a brand new dance they had written especially for the show.
We were also very lucky to have the MMP Polynesian Dancers once again whose wonderful sense of sheer enjoyment in the dance gave everyone a lift.
St Andrew's Scottish Dancers came all they way from Scotland to perform and their daily ceildh, got members of the audience involved.

Many of our old friends also joined us again and with morris, flamenco, line dance, cornish dance and scottish dance it once again provided a brilliant show.

The Morris Dancing

One again the Morris Dancers arrived on Saturday to give their usual spirited display.

This year we were entertained by Dartmoor Border, Borderline and Tarka. All of the sides came from Devon.

They danced at the Pavilion Concourse, outside the new Pavilion Centre, and the Steam Fair.

This event has now become a firm favourite of the Royal Cornwall Show, and we hope that it will continue for many years ahead maybe attracting morris sides from further a field.
