Stage Programme

Once again the Cornwall College helped us with PA and general running of the stage.
The students performed a new morris dance and then interpreted a number from Hairspray in a 'morris' way.
We had performances on stage from a new group Le Jive, and all are usual groups. The weather was kinder and we had good crowds watching on all three days.

Once again thanks to Ginsters for providing the pasties and Skinners for the beer.

Many of our old friends also joined us again and with morris, flamenco, line dance, cornish dance and scottish dance it once again provided a brilliant show.

The Morris Dancing

One again the Morris Dancers arrived on Saturday to give their usual spirited display.

This year we were entertained by Dartmoor Border, Borderline. All of the sides came from Devon.

They danced at the Pavilion Concourse, outside the new Pavilion Centre, and Skinners Bar. And in the afternoon they were joined by Cornwall College who danced their own version of the morris and then joined in with the other dancers in Tinner's Rabbit.

This event has now become a firm favourite of the Royal Cornwall Show, and we hope that it will continue for many years ahead maybe attracting morris sides from further a field.
