Once again the Festival Marquee and Stage were
situated on the Flower Show lawn, which is a perfect setting. The
weather was kind, if at times a bit too hot, but the dancers enjoyed
good crowds to entertain and a great deal of interest in what was
happening. |

Saturday saw our usual procession through the Showground, featuring around eight dance sides which included Cornish Dance and English Morris. This cullminated in a grand dance at the Members Pavillion. Meanwhile there was still an active programme of events happening on the stage which included Hanging Johnny singing their shanties, jive, appalachian and cornish dance demonstrations. The morris sides also performed at various spots around the show. |
